What
this site contains
The
Leeds Initiative recognizes that solid, reliable information is
vital to all those with a stake in the long term future of the many
and varied neighbourhoods and communities that make up the city
of Leeds.
Key
partners have worked together to create this unique resource for
the city which, for the first time, brings together up to date information
and maps covering a range of issues such as population structure,
low income, health, crime, educational attainment and others,
and all at the click of a mouse!
The
information on the site has been chosen to reflect the key issues
identified in the Leeds Neighbourhood Renewal Strategy
(to
view click here) It is hoped that over time more data will be
added to provide an even better picture of conditions across Leeds.
You
can now access data for an area that has already been defined, eg.
Electoral Wards, Police Divisions, Parliamentary Constituencies,
Primary Care Trusts, ALMO's etc. Or you can draw your own boundary
and retrieve information for that area.
